Today, the Qatari Defense Minister, Hamad Bin Ali Al Attiyah is making an official visit in Mongolia. This started with a meeting with Ts.Tsolmon, the Mongolian Defense Minister. Minister.Tsolmon said that: “The defense relationship between Mongolia and Qatar  started from the “Cooperation Contract between Mongolia and Qatar” in 2007. Our partnership has developed in military training, combating terrorism, and joint exercises etc”. Hamad Bin Ali Al Attiyah will also meet Mongolian President Ts.Elbegdorj, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and visit Unit 311 of the Mongolian Armed Forces, in order to observe joint troop training, which is currently underway.
