The International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cup is taking a place in the city of Gabala in Azerbaijan. Yesterday 85 shooters participated in 25 meters sport-shooting category, among them Mongolian International Master of Sport, Ts.Munkhzul, who distinguished herself in the final with 584 scores and in the semi-finale with 13 scores. Therefore, Ts.Munkhzul was awarded 6th place and given the right to participate in the Olympic Games in Rio De Janeiro. Currently 10 Mongolian shooters, including: honorary sportswomen O.Gundegmaa, international master of sport E.Davaakhuu and Ch.Narantuya. The ISSF World Cup in Gabala will end on 14th September.

The ISSF World Cup was initiated in 1986 by the International Shooting Sport Federation to provide a homogeneous qualification system for the Olympic shooting competitions. It continues to be carried out in the Olympic shooting events, with four annual competitions in each event. Since 1988 an ISSF World Cup Final for the best shooters has been held.
