On 5^th August, the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, and Director of the Mongolian-North Korean Group in the Parliament R.Gonchigdorj received a North Korean delegation led by the Minister of Higher Education, member of the Worker’s Party of Korea- Thae Hyong-Chol and others. During the meeting, Mr. Gonchigdorj noted: “The co-operation between the legal institutions of our two countries is essential for the development of friendly relations between Mongolia and North Korea”. Mr. Thae Hyong-Chol said: “These visits are becoming a huge stimulus in strengthen the relationship between our parliaments and developing cultural co-operation”. Also, Thae Hyong-Chol mentioned the many positive things arising from the visits of the Chairman of the Supreme People’s Assembly- Choe Thae Bok to Mongolia in 2012, the North East Asian Women Parliamentarians Forum-2013 in Ulaanbaatar, and the visit of the Deputy Speaker of the Mongolian Parliament, R.Gonchigdorj, to North Korea in 2014.
