During the summer, Ulaanbaatar’s main thoroughfare, Peace Avenue, has been closed in order to repair the main hot water pipes. Three companies are selected to conduct this task, the first phase of started on 6^th June. The third and final phase of work started on 13^th July and has involved the closure of Peace Avenue from the State Department Store to the Western Cross-Road. Today (5^th May), the City Administration officials are officially re-opening Peace Avenue at 11.00 am in front of the State Department Store.
