Today, the “Legal Standing Committee” discussed the new draft “Fire-Arm Law” and related amendments. The initiator of this project, Member of the Parliament, Kh.Temuujin said: “The new draft will register owners of firearms. It will also make ownership by herdsmen legal. Therefore they can legally protect their livestock and properties from wild animals. Therefore it is not necessary to make their guns inactive”. After the open ballot, “Legal Standing Committee” decided to present the draft project of “Fire-Arm Law” to Parliament.
