On 30^th July, Mongolian President Ts.Elbegdorj met Jan Hamacek the Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic. Mr.Jan Hamacek said: “We have a great impression having come to Mongolia; we really feel like close friends. The Czech Republic would like to deepen relations with Mongolia and Asian other countries by using Mongolia’s position in Asia. “ASEM-XVI” clearly demonstrates the important status of Mongolia. The Czech Republic is a country which depends on exports. We have decided to cooperate on two projects in Mongolia: one regards improving the quality of fresh water to Ulaanbaatar; the other regards meat processing equipment for export purposes. Also, we are grateful to Mongolia, that now Czech people can travel to your country without visas. We hope to discuss the possibility of a direct flight between Prague and Ulaanbaatar”.

Mr. Elbegdorj said in reply: “Our relations have great possibilities to develop. We know that it is important to provide discounts on the investments from the Czech Republic. The Pure Water Project has advantages and possibilities for application in other parts of the country such as the Gobi, not just in Ulaanbaatar. The Mongolian Government will support these undertakings. Animal husbandry and meat processing is also an important field of us. Mongolia has the possibilities to produce natural and clean food products”.
