A total of 850 troops of the Mongolian Armed Forces (MAF) are to be sent to serve on the next UN Peace Keeping Operations tour of duty. The troops, primarily from the MAF Mechanized Infantry Battalion will be sent to South Sudan. On this occasion, they will be joined by 36 soldiers of the Mongolian Border Troops. Colonel Ts.Gansukh, head of Mongolian Border Troops HQ, colonel officially received the soldiers and wished them all the best for their mission.
