The Mongolian Government has decided to celebrate 29^th July as “Sovereignty Day”, marking the country’s first democratic elections, which were held on 29^th July 1990. On 3^rd June, Mongolian President Ts.Elbegdorj issued a Decree (No. A/324) regarding celebrating the 25^thanniversary of the election on the 29^th-30^th July. Related to this, the City Mayor of Ulaanbaatar issued an Order (No A/624) regarding the “Working-Time Schedule”. According to the Mayoral order, all governmental organizations will work between 08.30-12.30 on 30^th July and 10.00-17.30 on 31^st July. Measures are being taken to eliminate traffic jams and create a more pleasant environment for the foreign visitors who have invited to the “Sovereignty Day” celebrations.
