The City Administration is creating water curtains in several places in Ulaanbaatar in order to reduce soil pollution and dust. The first water curtain on the Zaisan Bridge opened before the Naadam Festival. Today (23^rd July), the second water curtain was officially opened on the “Lion Bridge”. The water curtains have been installed by “Khan Ursgal LLC” in a short space of time. The cost of the “Lion Bridge” water curtain is MNT 70 million.The water curtains work between the hours of 08.00-23.00 and are illuminated at night time.

According to City Manager B.Badral, the City Administration is planning additional water curtains on several more bridges including the Marshall Bridge and the Dund Gol Bridge.
