The National Statistical Commission has provided information on Mongolia’s social and economical indicators situation for the first half of 2015. According to this report, inflation was 3.2% down 0.1% on the same period than in 2014. The main reasons include; a 0.4% reduction in food and beverages and a 0.3% decrease in apartment and electricity costs. The Bank of Mongolia is trying to keep inflation below 8% by the end of the year.
