During the official visit to Mongolia  of Myanmar President Thein Sein he has met with his counterpart President Ts.Elbegdorj. The two leaders have discussed many issues regarding joint relations and cooperation.

After the meeting, President Thein Sein provided the following information about their discussion -“I am sure that this visit will be a big stimulus to the joint relations between our two counties. Also, we are glad that an agreement and two Memoranda of Understanding have been signed. For example we have concluded an Agreement to co-operate in tourism, a MoU of joint commerce and cooperation between our Chambers of Commerce,  and the establishment of twin-city  relations between Ulaanbaatar and Nebido. Myanmar has huge natural resources, therefore, we assume that we can develop creative co-operation in mining”.
