The XV International Tchaikovsky Competition, which is organized every four years in the Russian city of St. Petersburg is currently taking place. It started on 15th June and will run until 2nd July. This year, the Mongolian Honorary singer G.Ariunbaatar as well as B.Batjargal, Ch.Badral, and N.Oyunchimeg are participating in solo singing competition. Among them, G.Ariunbaatar will go into the in finals.

This preliminary competition involved approximately 500 singers. Only 24 participants were chosen in final fourth stage for the Gala Concert. The overall winner will receive MNT 10 million, the second MNT 7 million, and the third MNT 5 million. The winners will be announced on 2nd July during the Finalists’ Gala Concert.
