President Ts.Elbegdorj returned to Mongolia on 11th June 2015, after his landmark visit to the European Parliament. It will be recalled that the President had been invited to address the European lawmakers in Strasbourg by the President of Euro-Parliament Martin Schulz. During his visit earlier this week (8th-10th June) Mr Elbegdorj made a speech on the current state of Mongolian Democracy.

Mr. Elbegdorj noted that, “In a month we will celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Democratic Elections. Since, 29th July 1990, there have been seven democratic parliamentary election and six president elections. Today we have an active market economy, and a creative society. Our GDP has increased by almost 20%. The private sectors make 80% of GDP”.
