The Parliamentary “Justice Union” has discussed two issues:

Firstly, the Group has concluded that, they cannot support the “Economical Transparency Law” project, since the members consider there is no difference between the “Economical Transparency Law” and the 2012 “Economical Amnesty Law”. The main purpose of the “Economical Transparency Law” is to calibrate the Governmental pressures on business entities during these economical hard times. But, said Deputy Chief of “Justice Union” Group Z.Bayanselenge – this version of project overlaps with the “Economical Amnesty Law”.

Secondly, discussion of owning Gatsuurt stock was not considered to be that urgent an issue to call a special Parliamentary hearing. Every Mongolian citizen has an equal right to own natural resources. The Group is wondering why the Government decided to discuss the matter with Parliament so suddenly. For this reason, we decided to form a working team to identify the benefits of “Gatsuurt”.
