734.9 BILLION MNT IN CIRCULATION
As of end of April of this year, money supply reached 9.7 trillion MNT and decreased by 198.7 billion MNT, or two percent, in comparison with the previous month.
In comparison with the same period of last year, it decreased by 498.3 billion MNT, or by five percent. Cash in circulation reached 734.9 billion MNT, a decrease of 32.1 billion MNT in comparison with March.
BAD LOANS REACHED 747 BILLION MNT
The outstanding debt of loans provided to enterprises and individuals as of the end of April reached 12.3 trillion MNT. This was 26.3 billion MNT higher than the total from the previous month.
Overrun debt was 587.8 billion MNT, an increase of 28.1 billion MNT (five percent) in comparison with previous month, and 288.8 billion MNT in comparison with the same period of last year.
FOREIGN TRADE TURNOVER REACHES 2,486.5 MILLION USD
Last April, Mongolia conducted trade with 115 countries and total trade turnover reached 2, 0486.5 million USD. Exports made up 1,452.3 million USD and import 1,034.3 million USD.
15.4 MILLION SHARES TRADED
As of the first quarter of 2015, 431.2 billion MNT in transactions were carried out at the Mongolian Stock Exchange and 15.4 million shares were traded. Trade was 7.3 times higher in comparison with the same period of last year.
