An official opening ceremony of the D.Sodnomzundui Mongolian National Basketball Palace and the National Olympic Complex will be held on Thursday, May 14, at 12:00 p.m.

The facility will have a capacity of 2,000 people and will have a training hall, hotel for 250 people, and a fitness room.

National basketball teams of all ages can practice at the training hall.

The Basketball Palace was built according to NBA standards and is located 18 kilometers southwest of Ulaanbaatar at Khandgait Ski Resort. Ulaanbaatar residents are invited to watch basketball competitions held year-round.

The National Basketball Super League’s final competitions were held in Khandgait on May 2, 2015.
