Speaker Z.Enkhbold opened the event saying, “ In 2010, the President of Mongolia  issued  Decree No. 63 to plant trees… The appeal calls on the entire population – citizens, state and private organizations – to  make it a tradition to plant trees and to take care of the trees planted."

He noted that this year’s first of two tree planting days was organized on the same day as the 25th anniversary of Parliament being established and the 70th anniversary of the victory of World War II.

He called on all Members of Parliament to continue to expand the grove and plant trees with their own hands.
