Next week Mongolia will be visited by the leaders of Bulgaria and India.
The President of Bulgaria, Rosen Plevneliev, will pay a three day visit to Mongolia starting from Sunday, followed by an official visit by Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi.
It is expected that important issues in cooperation will be resolved during the visits of these high level officials, with anticipated results and outcomes.
The main purpose of the visit of the Bulgarian President is broadening investment cooperation between the two countries. President Plevneliev is being accompanied by representatives from the economic and business sectors of his country. A Mongolian and Bulgarian business forum will be organized during his visit and there are plans for the signing of cooperation documents in the agricultural, media, scientific and education sectors.
Presidents Plevneliev and President Ts.Elbegdorj will have a tete-a-tete meeting and Speaker of Parliament Z.Enkhbold and Prime Minister Ch.Saikhanbileg will also call on the Bulgarian president.
The Prime Minster of India will arrive in Mongolia on Saturday, May 16. He will arrive in Mongolia after his official visit to Shanghai. After his visit to Mongolia he is planning to visit South Korea.
Modi's visit will be the first time an Indian Prime Minister has come to Mongolia. The visit's agenda includes plans to conclude a new agreement on diplomacy between Ulaanbaatar and Delhi. There are several issues regarding mineral resources exploration and an agreement on uranium export that will also be discussed.
The 5th President of Bulgaria, Rosen Asenov Plevneliev, was elected in January 2012 with more than 52 percent of the vote. He began his career in politics as a Minister of Regional Development under the Chamber of the Prime Minister of Bulgaria on July 27, 2009.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was elected in the 2012 Gujarat Legislative Assembly elections. Modi has been a long-standing political figure in the state of Gujarat, with his time in various offices coming with praise and controversy. Modi's three country tour is being widely followed by international media.
