As part of the 20-year anniversary of the establishment of partnership between Ulaanbaatar and Seoul, “Ulaanbaatar Days” were organized from May 1 to 3, in Seoul. Delegates headed by the Mayor of Ulaanbaatar E.Bat-Uul traveled to Seoul for the event.  

On the second day of the visit, the delegates visited the International Mongolia School in Seoul, founded in 1999.  The founder of the school, Yoo Hae-Guen, noted that the school was founded because the number of Mongolian employees working in Seoul was growing rapidly and the children of these employees needed schools to continue their education.  Yoo stressed that the relationship between the two countries will develop and flourish further thanks to the children who have now studied at the school. 

The delegates also visited a Mongolian cultural center and expressed their gratitude to its founders.
