As reported by the Ministry of Agriculture, this year Mongolia will plant crops on 328,600 hectares nationwide.

Wheat will be planted on 300,000 hectares, potatoes on 13,900 hectares, vegetables on 8,300 hectares, oil plants on 16,000 hectares, and fruit on 1,000 hectares.   

Nationwide, 6,200 tons of diesels will be required for cultivation, 8,100 tons for preparing fallow fields, and 6,800 tons of diesels for harvesting. In total, 21,100 tons of diesels will be required for agricultural production.   

As of today, the Agriculture Production Support Fund has concluded an agreement to purchase 1,800 tons of wheat with 57 enterprises and citizens, as well as an agreement to purchase 444 tons of diesels with 91 enterprises.
