When the Ipotek mortgage loans with interest rates of eight percent began, almost 50 people a day were applying for the program. Over the past month, almost 1,600 people have applied for mortgage loans, with about 40 applicants pursuing loans per day. 

As of April 24, applicants requested 1.96 trillion MNT in mortgage loans to be issued by commercial banks. From these applications, mortgage loans of 925 billion MNT were issued to 35,000 applicants.  

As reported by Mongol Bank, commercial banks have refinanced 568.2 billion MNT in mortgage loans for 19,000 borrowers, and transferred previously held mortgage loans with high interest rates to terms with eight percent interest.
