The President of Mongolia, Ts.Elbegdorj, received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary from the Republic of Korea to Mongolia Lee Tae-ro today, who is finishing his diplomatic mission. 

At the beginning of the meeting, Ambassador Lee stressed that the diplomatic relationship between Mongolia and the Republic of Korea has been developed stably, and noted that at the governmental meeting of Mongolia and the Republic of Korea the sides presented conclusions on the implemented and planned projects to be implemented together over the next 25 years.

Ambassador Lee congratulated President Ts.Elbegdorj for Mongolia's selection to organize the ASEM Summit in 2016. The Ambassador stressed that during his term of working as President of Mongolia, the reputation of Mongolia in the international arena has been very strong, pointing out that organization of the ASEM meeting in Mongolia shows that foreign cooperation in Mongolia has reached a high level.

The Ambassador thanked President Ts.Elbegdorj for paying attention to regional security and peace and initiating Northeast Asian discussions. 

During the meeting, the Ambassador stressed that the Republic of Korea is putting attention on increasing investment in Mongolia and noted that cooperation between the two countries is expanding in the fields of health, agriculture, and education. 

The President of Mongolia thanked the Ambassador for his contributions to the progress in the development of relations between the two countries and their continuous high level political relations.   

President Ts.Elbegdorj noted that after 25 years of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, the relationship has been stably developed in several sectors.  

At the end of the meeting, President Ts.Elbegdorj wished Ambassador Lee health and success in his future work.
