A part of the Japanese grant assisted “Grassroots Project”, a judo stadium is going to be built in Khovd aimag.

According to a statement from officials, the stadium being built with non-refundable aid of 97,700 USD will contribute not only to the development of sport in Khovd aimag but also to the development of sport in the western region of Mongolia.  

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Mongolia Takenori Shimizu, Vice President of the Mongolian Judo Federation Sh.Adisha, and judokas Kh.Tsagaanbaatar and M.Urantsetseg were present for the signing ceremony of the agreement to build the judo stadium.
