Even
though the authorities tried their best to finish the Parliament’s spring
session before Naadam, the number of important laws that must be discussed made
it impossible. Now the Parliament will have to hold the meetings this week to
discuss the Parliamentary Election Law, Law about Explosives and others.

The
Parliament will also discuss whether to dismiss the director of Anti-Corruption
Authority and whether to appoint D.Altai as the member of Human Rights National
Commission. DP group so far is on break, opposing the appointment of D.Altai.
MPRP group on the other hand is on break, opposing the law of Explosives. Furthermore,
the dismissal of Anti-Corruption head was not backed by the Standing Committee
on Legislation.

The
secret letter to Parliament Speaker from the General Prosecutor, indicates two reasons
to dismiss the Anti-Corruption Authority’s director Ch.Sangaragchaa and
vice-director D.Sunduisuren. First is abusing the power and spending state
money. The second reason is for investigating and hearing two employees
illegally. The case is being investigated by the Investigation Department of
State Prosecuting Authority and General Intelligence Authority. The legal time
to settle such a case is 14 days.
