The Minister of Agriculture, R.Burmaa, has received Omar Lauro Marrero Betancourt, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Mongolia from Cuba.

During the meeting, Minister R.Burmaa, stressed that Mongolia has been conducting cooperation in the field of agriculture through the importation of goat sperm and products for the protection of pastures.

Ambassador Betancourt expressed his wish to further develop cooperation in the agricultural sectors of the two countries. 

The sides exchanged views regarding the building of a joint factory near the Academy of Science in order to combat pests destroying pasture plants.
