During the official visit paid to Mongolia by Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Sergey E. Naryshkin, a memorandum of understanding between the Academy of Sciences of Mongolia and the Institution of Historic Study of the Russian Federation was signed.     

The President of the Academy of Sciences, T.Enkhtuvshin, reported that the aim of the memorandum of understanding is firstly, to propose certain types of projects for mutual cooperation, and in order to make unified decisions, to organize mutual negotiations; secondly, to cooperate in the field of preparation and organization of events dedicated to anniversaries and events; thirdly, to make a joint study of common issues of Russian and Mongolian history,  and to disseminate the science of history to the public and promote study findings.         

Since 2012 Sergey E. Naryshkin has served as head of the Historical Society of Russia, which was established in 1866.  The society is focused on the dissemination of knowledge about history to the public and prioritizing projects dedicated to compounding the culture of history.  

Based on the united standards of history and culture, the Russian side will approve textbooks for secondary schools which will be ready for the 2^nd semester of 2015, and starting in the new school year of 2015-2016, they will introduce these textbooks to the curriculum of secondary schools .
