Within the rights and authority, indicated in the Constitution of Mongolia, of the President of Mongolia, Ts. Elbegdorj has made a decision to pardon several prisoners and release them from imprisonment.  

Citizen of the USA Justin Kapla, who was jailed over allegations of tax evasion involving SouthGobi Resources Ltd and citizens of the Philippines Hilarion Cajucom Jr. and Cristobal David have been released from jail and are now free to return to their home countries. 

The President of the Philippines appealed to President Ts.Elbegdroj for a pardon citizens for the Philippine citizens, and the State Justice Department of the U.S. sent an appeal for the release of Justin Kapla.

President Ts.Elbegdorj sent a request to the head of the Chinese government to release Mongolian citizen of Mongolia Kh.Damdin from prison, where he was awaiting execution, and his appeal was granted.
