North Korean Foreign Affairs Minister to visit Mongolia

By the invitation of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia L.Purevsuren, Ri Su Yong, Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), is paying an official visit to Mongolia from February 22-25, 2015.

During his official visit to Mongolia, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the DPRK is going to meet with President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj and Prime Minister Ch.Saikhanbileg.

He will hold an official discussion with the Mongolian Minister of Foreign Affairs and meet with R.Burmaa, Minister of Food and Agriculture and head of the Mongolian side of the advisory commission of the Mongolian and North Korean governments on economy, trade, science, and technical cooperation.

During the talks, the two sides are expected to conclude agreements on the political, economic, cultural, labor, and humanitarian relationships between the two countries.

Ri Su Yong graduated from the Institute of Foreign Relations of Pyongyang, and has served as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary from the DPRK to Lichtenstein, the Netherlands, and Switzerland. He has served as a Resident Representative of the DPRK to the United Nations in Geneva.  

He has been awarded the title of the Hero of Labor of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, and numerous other honors for his public service.
