The Prime Minister of Mongolia met with the Head of the Cabinet of Japanese Parliament’s Advisors during his official visit to Japan this week.  

More than 40 years have passed since the establishment of the diplomatic relationship between Japan and Mongolia, and during this term, the relationship and cooperation between the two countries has been strengthened.

Head of the Cabinet of Japanese Parliament’s Advisors Masaaki Yamazaki noted that he is grateful that during the last few years high-level visits have became a constant.   

Prime Minister Ch.Saikhanbileg mentioned that the Cabinet of Japanese Parliament’s Advisors and its members have made great contributions to the development of the Mongolian-Japanese relationship.

He noted that the development of relations and cooperation with Japan is one of priorities of Mongolian foreign policy, and Mongolia has placed great importance on the development of cooperation with third neighbor countries, especially with Japan. 

The Prime Minister noted that by enhancing trade cooperation between the two countries and increasing investments, the main objective of this visit was to create a foundation for mutual cooperation to lead to a new economic relationship between Mongolia and Japan, which will be mutually beneficial and will include the participation of both sides.  

The following officials participated in the meeting: Member of Parliament (MP) and Minister of Education L.Gantumur,   MP and Head of Mongolian Japanese Friendship Group D.Gankhuag, MP D.Sumiyabazar, Mining Minister R.Jigjid, Minister of Construction and Urban Development D.Tsogtbaatar, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia N.Oyundari, Deputy Minister of Industry Kh.Badelkhan, and Ambassador S.Khurelsukh.
