The 3^rd semester for secondary schools in Ulaanbaatar began today. This was the longest holiday for students in secondary education. Holidays for primary school were observed from December 20^th to January 25^th, holidays for middle school from January 3 to 25, and high school holidays were from January 10 to 25.

For the new semester, the opening ceremony of a primary school for 620 students in the 17^th khoroo of Sukhbaatar district is taking place today.

Holidays for schools located in rural areas have not yet finished. In rural areas, primary school holidays began on January 10 and will continue until  February 8. Middle school class holidays are beginning today and will also continue until  February 8.
