Former Chair of the Committee for the Reform Movement in the MPP, T.Ayursaikhan, new head of the Authority for Fair Competition and Consumer Protection, was officially  appointed to the new position at the most recent cabinet meeting.

T.Ayursaikhan has announced that the first thing he will handle is to the issue of redundant positions at the agency, regarding the government's guidance, as soon he takes office.

The new head of the authority said, “The government approved a program for strategy and structural changes for government agencies. The government agencies and organizations need to cope with the program. Redundancy should be addressed. Due to the guidance directed by the government, the Authority for Fair Competition and Consumer Protection is expected to cut positions by 15 percent and be left with 36 staff members."
