The 2015 Dakar Rally kicked off in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on Sunday, as 665 competitors took on the 37th edition of the world famous event.

The Dakar Rally will be staged in Argentina, Chile, and Bolivia, between January 5-17th.

This year Mongolia is represented for the first time in the off-road endurance race. A Mongolia-Hungary team of 9 co-pilots will ride in three cars.

In the auto race, Mongolian co-pilots IM N.Lkhamaa, IM O.Byambadelger, Sports Master B.Surendorj, D. Jargalsaikhan and IM U.Byambatsogt will compete.

Mongolian Ch.Anar, and IM D.Boldbaatar will brave the rally by motorbike.
