Mongolians will be celebrating the 103rd anniversary of the National Liberty Movement, when Manchu rule ended and national independence was restored under Bogd Khan, on December 29th.
In Monday's cabinet meeting the government confirmed that Monday, December 29th, would be a public day off under the national holiday.
December 30 and 31 will be work days for state employees and banks. According to law, the first day of the new year is a public holiday, but the government has decided that January 1 and 2 will be public days off and January 10th will be made a working day instead.
