Wednesday's cabinet meeting discussed proposals for deputy ministers of the government and approved 17 deputy ministers for the government's 15 ministries.

The government decided that Ministry of Education and Science, Ministry of Health and Sports should have two deputy ministers.

The DP submitted six proposals for deputy minister posts while the MPP named 7, MPRP named 3, and the Civil Will and Green Party named 1.

New deputy ministers of the government:

Deputy Minister for Industry: Kh.Badelkhan  (Advisor to the MPP caucus in Parliament)

Deputy Minister for Education, Culture and Science: Ya.Tumurbaatar  (President of Strategy Academy)

Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs: N.Oyundari  (Mongolian Trade Representative to China)

Deputy Minister for Health and Sports: D.Atarmaa (Vice Chairwoman of the Ulaanbaatar City Health Department)

Deputy Minister for Mining: G.Temuulen  (Member of the Board of Directors of Oyu Tolgoi) 

Deputy Minister for Population Development and Social Welfare: B.Munkhbaatar (Deputy Mayor of Ulaanbaatar) 

Deputy Minister for Food and Agriculture: B.Batzorig  (Governor of Bayanzurkh District)

Deputy Finance Minister: S.Purev (re-appointed)

Deputy Minister for Defense: A.Battur (re-appointed)

Minister for Construction and Urban Development: G.Baigalmaa (re-appointed)

Deputy Minister for Roads and Transportion:  Kh.Erjan (re-appointed)

Deputy Minister for Energy: U.Purevbat (Chairman of DP of Songinokhairkhan District)

Deputy Minister for Health and Sports: T.Boldbaatar  (Chairman of Mongolian Democratic Union in Songinokhairkhan District)

 

Deputy Justice Minister: Ts.Uugangerel (re-appointed)

Deputy Minister for Labor: J.Batkhuyag  (re-appointed)

Deputy Minister for Education, Culture and Science: B.Tulga

Deputy Minister for Environment and Green Development: M.Khurelsukh (Director of the Environmental Protection Fund)
