Speaker Z.Enkhbold's Monday decision to allow only vehicles belonging to parliamentarians park at the east side parking area at the Government House resulted in a public backlash.

The new parking rule allowed only parliamentarians to park at the east side and the other Government House staff and visitors to share west side parking.

On Monday, the “unworkable” parking rule spurred discontent among staff and visitors who found the east side parking area empty. Today the Speaker is rescinding the parking regulation, allowing staff, visitors and parliamentarians the same access to both parking areas, in response to the social media backlash.
