The Ulaanbaatar Citizens Representative's Khural  issued a decision to cut the hours of traffic restriction on city roads, on Monday, December 15th.

Under the City Council measure, effective since August 2013, vehicles were restricted from participating in city traffic between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. based on their vehicle license plate numbers. But the traffic restriction hours have now been changed, as citizens suggested  shortening the hours of traffic restrictions.

Traffic restrictions will now be in effect from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on weekdays. The change will be effective starting today, December 16th.
