The “Democratic Revolution in Mongolia – 25 ” conference was held at the Government House, organized by the Academy of Political Education and the Mongolian Democratic Union.

Speaker of the State Great Khural Z.Enkhbold addressed the participants of the conference and delivered a speech celebrating the 25th anniversary of democracy in Mongolia.

Speaker Z.Enkhbold noted that Mongolia has chaired the Community of Democracies from 2011 to 2013, as Mongolia has had a peaceful transition to democracy for the past 25 years.

"Mongolia has developed democracy in its own way, and achieved success  in becoming a role model for other developing countries pursuing the same goal. This is our achievement. Every Mongolian is proud of its adoption of the first Constitution, and declaration of fundamental human rights, and political and economical freedom.  Thus, this conference plays an important role in defining and studying the values of democracy, our role in history, and proper achievement of democracy," he added.

At the “Democratic Revolution in Mongolia – 25 ” conference, state honored essayist B.Batbayar, board member of the Political Academy of Mongolia D.Ganbat, Director of the Sant Maral Foundation L.Sumati, and Ch.Unurbayar, legal advisor to the President of Mongolia, delivered speeches.
