Local media has reported that a fire broke out at Oyu Tolgoi processing plant in Khanbogd sum in Umnugovi Province on Wednesday, December 3^rd.

The fire occurred on the fourth floor of the processing plant, at the grinding unit, at around 5:55 p.m. and the fire fighting unit extinguished the fire at 8:25 p.m.

The Oyu Tolgoi Media Office confirmed that there was a fire that was extinguished 

An official source says that damages from the fire are unknown and that other parts of the processing plant are safe. The Umnugovi Provincial Police Department, Specialized Inspection Department and Emergency Management Office are currently investigate the cause of the fire.
