The 4th Aerobic Asian Gymnastics Championships were held in Gangwon, South Korea, from November 19 to 21. Over 300 athletes from 11 countries, including China, South Korea, Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong, India, Vietnam, and Australia, participated in the games. Thirty-five athletes from Mongolian secondary schools and university sport clubs represented Mongolia in three different age categories and grabbed one gold and two bronze medals.

The Mongolian team from the Mongolian University of Science and Technology won a gold in the 18 years and older age category. National Institute of Physical Education of Mongolia's team won bronze in the dance aerobics category.

In the junior age category of 12 to 14, young Mongolian athletes from Light Club won bronze.
