During the annual Congress of the International Fencing Federation (FIE) held in Rome, Italy, Vice President of Mongolia's Fencing Federation L.Ganpurev met the International Fencing Federation's (FIE) Alisher Usmanov, Vice-President of the FIE Wang Wei, and Secretary General Frederic Petrushka to exchange opinions.

Mongolia's Fencing Federation also held meetings with representatives from the fencing federations of the South Korea, China, Japan, Great Britain and Uzbekistan.

During the annual congress it was agreed that Ulaanbaatar would host the 2015 Asian Youth Fencing Festival, from September 7-12.

It was also decided that the General Assembly of the Asian Fencing Federation would be hosted in Ulaanbaatar in 2015.

The General Assembly of the Asian Fencing Federation, representing 35 countries, is tentatively scheduled for September 7th, 2015.
