JCI Ulaanbaatar non-profit community organized the City Solution Forum-Traffic in collaboration with the Ulaanbaatar City Mayor`s Office and Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The forum was attended by state and non-state organizations, businessmen, researchers, and the public.

Forum participants delivered presentations on the following four subjects:

– Measures to reduce traffic jams

– Regulations and planning to reduce vehicle use

– Regionalization and planning

– Driver and passenger norms and ethics

Planning to reduce vehicle use in the city, a presentation promoting cycling in Ulaanbaatar was given by project specialist and coordinator O.Sansarkhuu.

Mongolian Youth Federation has conducted the “Ulaanbaatar with Cycling” project in the city for the past two years and organized four cycling parades, a weekend cycling eco-tour, and called for building bicycle lanes in the city.
