In Thursday's plenary session meeting of parliament, members agreed on the redundancy of positions within state organizations during the discussion of the 2015 state budget.

A cut of 345 positions, such as deputy, vice and assistant positions at all levels of state structure is expected to take place. The MPs agreed to cut positions as some local governors in sums and agencies of the government have two vice governors.

Mayor of Ulaanbaatar E.Bat-Uul leads in numbers, having six deputy mayors.

The Standing Committee meeting on Budget reviewed the 2015 state budget  and agreed to make the cuts to city administration and local government.
