A consultative meeting between the Foreign Affairs Ministries of Mongolia and Germany was held in Ulaanbaatar, on November 3^rd, 2014.

The consultative meeting was chaired by State Secretary of Foreign Affairs and the Economic Cooperation Ministry of Mongolia B.Boldbaatar and Ambassador Peter Prugel, the German Foreign Affairs Ministry's Director-General for Asian and Pacific Affairs.

At the meeting the parties exchanged opinions on regional and international relations, including a wide range of issues on bilateral politics, economy, education, culture, and science collaboration and future goals.

State Secretary B.Boldbaatar noted that both sides successfully organized a number of events in the scope of the 40^th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries and asked for support from Mongolia to take part in the world's leading travel trade show in March, IBT Berlin 2015, as a partner. Germany also offered Mongolia support in the organization of the annual conference of the Freedom Online Coalition in Ulaanbaatar in May, and the 11th ASEM Summit in Ulaanbaatar in 2016.

The parties also discussed the results of the 3rd meeting of the Mongolia-Germany intergovernmental working group for cooperation in the minerals, industrial and technological sectors, and the 4^th Mongolia-Germany Economic Committee Meeting, and exchanged opinions on future joint projects.
