Upon the invitation of Ulaanbaatar City Mayor E.Bat-Uul, Turkey's Deputy Mayor of Ankara Ali Goksin is visiting Ulaanbaatar.
Mayor E.Bat-Uul received Deputy Mayor Goksin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkey to Mongolia Murat Karagoz, and other officials and exchanged views on further development of bilateral collaboration.
At the meeting, Mayor E.Bat-Uul announced, “We launched the program 'Friendly Ulaanbaatar', which was designed to welcome 5 million tourists to the city by 2030. We expect support from you for it. We will create projects featuring Turkish culture to attract Turkish tourists to our city. I hope you will collaborate with us on tourism."
In return, Deputy Mayor Goksin said, “We are ready to collaborate with Ulaanbaatar in every field. In particular, tourism is a significant sector. It is my pleasure to collaborate in this sector. We will organize a number of campaigns.”
Goksin invited the Mayor to visit to Ankara and expressed readiness to collaborate in every field with support in the economy, investment, infrastructure, and reconstruction, as sister cities.
