On the occasion of the 45th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Turkey,  an award ceremony presenting the Mongolian Peace Medal to Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc, was held at the Embassy of Mongolia in Ankara, on October 28th, 2014.

The honor was presented in accordance with a decree by the President of Mongolia.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Turkey B.Batkhishig emphasized Deputy Prime Minister Arinc's great efforts in conducting Mongolia-Turkey Intergovernmental Joint Committee meetings in both Ankara and Ulaanbaatar, expanding bilateral trade volume as a head of the Mongolia-Turkey Intergovernmental Joint Committee, in his speech for the presentation of the award.

Deputy Prime Minister Arinc expressed thanks for the awarding of the Peace Medal, a symbol of bilateral, traditional, good relations between the two countries, and noted that there is great opportunity to further strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation.
