The Speaker of State Great Khural of Mongolia, Z.Enkhbold, will make an official visit to China upon the invitation of Zhang Dejiang, Chairman of the National People's Congress of China, on October 27-28^th.

During his visit, Speaker Z.Enkhbold will meet the President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping.

Speaker Z.Enkhbold will then hold an official talk with Zhang Dejiang, and sign a memorandum of understanding on creating regular mechanisms of cooperation between the Mongolian State Great Khural and National People's Congress of China.

Speaker Z.Enkhbold is also expected to give an interview to China's state television channel, ССТV-9, and Phoenix Chinese Channel.  Then, Z.Enkhbold will visit Sinopec Corp. and meet the corporation's presidents.

Speaker Z.Enkhbold's delegation to China includes Members of Parliament S.Byambatsogt, N.Battsereg, S.Odontuya, M.Batchimeg, D.Sumiyabazar, Senior Assistant to the Speaker and Director of Speaker's Services S.Lambaa, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to China Ts.Sukhbaatar, Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister D.Gankhuyag, and other officials.

Mongolia and China established diplomatic relations on October 16, 1949.

Both countries opened embassies in Ulaanbaatar and Beijing in 1950.

Since 1949 to1962, bilateral relations between Mongolia and China have reshaped several agreements and treaties, including the Peace and Reciprocal Help Agreement  (1960), the Mongolia and China Border Treaty (1962), and the Bilateral Economy and Cultural Ties Agreement.

Mongolia and China declared 2014 as the China-Mongolia Friendly Exchange Year, on the 65^th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations.
