A ceremony to show respect to prominent political figure S.Zorig was held at his memorial today, September 2nd.

President Ts.Elbegdorj, Speaker of the State Great Khural Z.Enkhbold, Prime Minister N.Altankhuyag, and S.Zorig's family and friends were present at the ceremony.

A prominent political figure in Mongolia, S.Zorig was brutally assassinated on October 2, 1998. He was expected to be a Mongolian Prime Minister just before his mysterious, and still unsolved assassination. 

S.Zorig's sister, Minister of Environment and Green Development S.Oyun, said during the, “Our family still believes the case will be solved as hope dies only at the last second.”
