The body of a missing man was found in Nalaikh coal mine after a 15-day search. B.Altankhuyag was a contract retailer for APU JSC, the nation's largest beverage company, and had been reported missing since September 15th since his last sms contact with his family.
The family held a press conference on Tuesday, announcing that the search was still in progress. The father of three left home in his car to distribute products to contracted shops in the remote districts of Khujirbulan, Gatsuurt, Nalaikh, on September 15th.
B.Altankhuyag was to pick up his wife and children from the hospital that daym but never arrived. Police began a search for him.
On Tuesday, police found a body in Nalaikh coal mine at around 5:00 p.m. and called B.Altankhuyag's family in to identify it. The family claimed the identification will be confirmed after the autopsy report. The belongings and clothes were identified as his, but his car was not located. Police have launched an investigation to determine the cause of death.
