The Second Intergovernmental Commission meeting on trade, economic, scientific, and technical cooperation between Mongolia and Belarus was held in Minsk, Belarus, on September 23rd.
The Second Intergovernmental Commission Meeting was chaired the Mongolian Deputy Minister of Construction and Urban Development, G.Baigalmaa, and the Deputy Industry Minister of Belarus, Alexander Ogorodnikov.
The two sides agreed to expand future cooperation in bilateral trade, roads, transport, customs, industry, agriculture, urban development, education and science.
The Ministers also sought ways to clear obstacles regarding Mongolian cargo during passenger transit through Belarusian territory, expanding links between businesses and the private sector of the two countries, and building joint factories.
Before the Intergovernmental Commission Meeting, Mongolian officials from the Ministry of Construction and Urban Development visited the Belarusian companies BelAZ, MAZ, and MTZ and had bilateral talks on cooperation with company officials.
