According to a report issued by the Citizenship and Migration General Authority of Mongolia, a total of 45,068 foreigners from 116 countries are currently residing in Mongolia for work, investment, study and family in Mongolia.

The majority of foreigners have temporary residence permits for work on seasonal road, bridge, construction projects. There are 26,053 Chinese, 2,759 Russians, 2,948 South Koreans, 2,676 Americans and 2,647 North Koreans now residing in Mongolia.

The Citizenship and Migration General Authority of Mongolia will participate in an open house at the Justice Ministry to offer information and advice on how to apply for visa permits, residency permits, personal invitations, and residency certificates, on September 13th.
